Working in a small and supportive group within a larger team, you will be reporting to the Accounting Manager and the General Manager. With the assistance of a fantastic finance team around you, you will be responsible for managing the monthly billing and time critical payments.

Your duties and responsibilities will see you involved with but not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of Trust account transactions
  • Entering and processing EOM and mid-month invoices
  • Necessary bank account payments for owners, tenants, and creditors
  • Loading all creditor monthly property management invoices
  • Prepare daily banking of all cash/transactions receipted onsite
  • General administration assistance

It’s important and necessary in this job to be able to problem solve, look, and investigate further if you notice something not making sense, take responsibility, be open to learning (this industry is unique and interesting). By providing accurate and timely accounts and office administration support you will make a huge impact in the businesses success and help the team achieve financial targets ultimately maximising profitability.

All systems are in place and are robust; the role is ready for someone to take ownership and show more than just an interest in the numbers, you need to have good business acumen and the desire to learn on the job.

Of course, you will need to have had a good exposure to accounts and administration and ideally you will bring Trust Accounting experience, however this is not a must-have. Technically, you will bring strong administration skills, good knowledge of the Microsoft suite with the ability to pick up new systems.
