The opportunity 

As Assistant Site Manager you will work alongside a fantastic experienced Supervisor who is ready to have someone provide hands-on support to the established childcare team.  The focus is on delivering well thought out before and after school programs with high-quality supervision.  The programs are well established and continually evolving, this role is to supervise and mentor the hard-working assistants in a hands-on and encouraging manner.

Combining your varied life and work skills you’ll be able to multi-task, manage people and build teams, have a high standard of written and verbal communication while being happy to be hands-on as it’s a busy time of the day for all involved.  When you work in a school you are continually dealing with a wide range of groups, children, parents, training providers and the wider community.  Establishing, building and maintaining strong relationships is so important.


Are you a self-starter, practical in your approach, used to running programs/projects involving team leadership or are you the organizer/coordinator that has always dreamed of managing a team?  This role requires such a unique combination of skills, most importantly that hands-on positive approach and excellent communication skills where you put people at ease.  A full driver’s license is essential for times of assisting with an absence of the full-time driver.

Most importantly you have to have a love for working with kids and mentoring a team of assistants.
