The Role

This is an exciting and important position within the Mission.  With their continued growth and multiple groups holding regular meetings there is now a need for a dedicated Board Secretary.  Working in partnership with the Trustees, Directors, Stakeholders and Committees the role will be varied, interesting and allow you to really give back within an organization who believe in their ongoing legacy.  The skills and knowledge required for this business-critical role will come from a mixture of life and career experience.

The roles key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and attending regular Board and Committee meetings
  • Delivering timely detailed minutes in partnership with the Board of Directors
  • Foster, build & maintain internal & external stakeholder relationships
  • Governance appreciation & understanding in all areas of your work
  • Ensure ethical & organizational stability through your work
  • Develop & ensure effective delivery of meeting correspondence
  • Encourage teams to provide timely documentation & action discussed points
  • Manage communications with integrity & clarity
  • Meet compliance requirements to ensure work is carried out effectively
