They are looking for an experienced and capable Financial Controller, this is a fantastic role for a high calibre individual who enjoys a varied role in a fast paced environment. Their reputation is based on professionalism and a high level of technical expertise originating from their roots in engineering and construction. The company has steadily grown over the last four decades and is now a respected constructor of commercial, industrial and apartment buildings.
This is a newly developed role so make it your own and add value to your team and the business entities you’ll support. All systems are in place and are robust, this role will suit someone who can take ownership of the role and show more than just an interest in the numbers, you need to have good business acumen and have natural leadership qualities to oversee finance team members from several subsidiaries. This is an interesting and varied role, the key focus is ensuring financial control to promote profitability, growth, and long-term success for the business.
- Monitoring and forecasting cash flow reports for multiple entities
- Proven team management experience
- Work with an integrated cost ledger & live data system
- Financial accounting experience, ideally with a trade or manufacturing background
- Strong strategic and operational planning and analysis experience
- Oversee Accounting systems and procedures
- Commercial financial leadership experience
- Supporting growth initiatives
- Team leadership, budgeting, reporting using data
- Liaising with banks, auditors and other key external parties
