The Opportunity

If you’re looking for a fantastic opportunity in the RAVS (Review and Verification Services) space, you won’t find better than this role.  Joining an in-house specialist health and safety team of thirty people internationally, there is fantastic support and ongoing training provided.  Maybe you’ve been considering changing your focus from in-the-field site walks in safety vests to working within an office environment and visiting clients to advise on regulations and use of score cards for vetting.

In this cross-functional role, you will facilitate desktop audits of client’s health and safety documentation, provide support to contractors regarding company HSEQ processes, join HSEQ-related meetings with customers and participate in various research and process improvement activities.  By providing occupational safety-related support to new and existing clients you will be a pivotal and trusted partner, it’s important that you have excellent communication skills and are thorough and detailed in your work.

Your Skills

You need to have clear and confident communication skills in both one on one and to groups in a business setting, your ability to build rapport will see you be your clients trusted advisor.  Your ability to listen, interpret technical documents, research, audit and advise clients on current regulations alongside your colleague from the sales team will be a powerful combination to engage the client in using this industry leading contractor and supplier management software.

Below are some skills we would like to see in your career to date, ideally 3+ years’ experience as there is plenty of on-the-job training provided.

  • HSE or applicable site-level practical experience
  • Understanding safety regulations in the Asia-Pacific region and ISO/Management System standards
  • Proven skills or education in auditing HSE systems or eagerness to learn in this area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Proactively analyze processes and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
