This fantastic Practice Manager opportunity really does have it all, leadership of the existing high performing counselling team, facilitating peer clinical supervision, assisting the Office Manager and Executive Director with relevant operational functions, networking with stakeholders, monitoring and helping with client intake lists, providing direct counselling services to clients and participating as an active member of the management team. At all times the focus needs to be professional, committed to the cause, self-directed and considered.
As you will know in any leadership role is so crucial to have confidence in your ability to make decisions that are not only right for those in your team but for the wider organisation long term. Balancing your passion for counselling, supporting your team and providing well thought out solutions will see you add immediate value to the role.
Alongside your experience as a clinician (with a counselling qualification) we are seeking a therapeutic orientation in your style. Family therapy is a large focus for this organisation and a systemic viewpoint in its work with people. A genuine, collaborative and considered manner are ideal traits for this business-critical role. A good level of business acumen, supervision and leadership experience is essential. A self-motivated personality will ensure you manage your time in the day effectively, with being based in two offices each week its crucial to plan ahead to ensure appointments are time effective as well as being available for your team.
