Working as a 2IC to the Sales and Customer Service Manager, this is a hands-on Team Leader role. Along with guiding and coaching a team of eight, you will need to be happy to also ‘do the doing’, getting in there and being a part of the team, too. You can expect responsibilities such as;

  • Working closely with the team, motivating and coaching
  • Hosting 1-1’s and team meetings
  • Providing effective feedback and praise
  • Creating individual development targets and goals collaboratively
  • Making inbound and outbound sales and customer service calls

Perhaps you are currently working within a contact centre in a Customer Service/Sales role and are looking for a step up into leadership? Or perhaps you are currently a contact centre Team Leader looking for a fresh new role?

Either way, the successful candidate must bring a high level of emotional intelligence, patience, is passionate about people, a fantastic communicator with the ability to motivate and maintain a high performing team. While experience in the service industry is ideal, it is not essential. You will need proven experience within customer service and sales, have an excellent phone manner to be involved in the ‘doing’. There is a commission component here too so bring your motivation and drive!
